Greenwood Village, CO (December 17, 2007) – The Landmark Theatre Greenwood Village, the luxury 6-screen movie theatre opening Friday, December 21st at The Village at Landmark residential and retail development in the Denver Tech Center, has announced its debut line-up of highly-anticipated feature films:

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21st

  • Atonement - Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean, Pride & Prejudice) and James McAvoy (The Last King of Scotland) star in a new film from Joe Wright (director of Pride & Prejudice), based on the best-selling novel by Ian McEwan. (Rated R; Running Time 2:03)

  • Juno – Director Jason Reitman (Thank You For Smoking)’s film festival hit is a whip-smart comedy starring Ellen Page (Hard Candy) as a precocious teenager dealing with an unplanned pregnancy. Also stars Michael Cera (Superbad, Arrested Development), Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman and Allison Janney. (Rated PG-13; Running Time 1:37)

  • Charlie Wilson’s War – Oscar®-winning actors Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts and Philip Seymour Hoffman team with Oscar®-winning director Mike Nichols and Emmy®-winning writer Aaron Sorkin to bring George Crile’s best-selling book to the screen. Based on a true story about the U.S. Congressman, the Texas socialite and the CIA agent who engineered the CIA’s largest and most successful covert operation - the arming of the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan - contributing to the fall of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War.   • Sweeney Todd – Johnny Depp and director Tim Burton join forces again in a big screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s award-winning musical thriller about a vengeful barber whose clientele meet untimely ends in a most gruesome way. Also stars Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Timothy Spall (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Enchanted) and Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat). (Rated R; Running Time 1:57)

  • P.S. I Love You – Two-time Oscar® winner Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler (300) star in this romantic valentine based on the best-selling novel by Cecelia Ahern about a young widow whose husband leaves her a series of instructions to guide her in finding herself and her future without him. Also stars Oscar®-winner Kathy Bates, Lisa Kudrow and Gina Gershon.(Rated PG-13; Running Time 2:06)

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 25

  • The Savages – In her irreverent, hilarious and heartbreaking story, writer/director Tamara Jenkins (Slums of Beverly Hills) portrays an all-too common dilemma: After drifting apart emotionally and geographically over the years, two siblings - Wendy (Laura Linney, You Can Count on Me) and Jon (Oscar®-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman, Capote) - must band together to care for an elderly parent (Philip Bosco) who is beginning to show signs of senility. (Rated R; Running Time 1:54)
